Mr Russell Hodgson has specialised in gallbladder, liver, pancreas, and bile duct surgery (known as HPB surgery). He completed dedicated pancreas surgery training in St James’s University Hospital in Leeds and is proficient in all forms of pancreas surgery.

His pancreas surgery expertise includes:

Surgery for adenocarcinoma of the pancreas, which is the most common form of pancreatic cancer
Surgery for neuroendocrine tumours of the pancreas
Surveillence and surgery for cystic lesions of the pancreas, including IPMN (intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm)
